Ronan has very eclectic tastes and styles, which are not only
derived from his native Irish culture, but also from his travels in
parts of England, Africa, and India. Since 1997, he has been playing
the Irish pub communities within Boston and New England as a solo
artist and with other members of local bands, such as The
Johnny Come Latelies .
In addition to pubs and clubs Ronan plays in music festivals,
fundraisers, and private parties. His first self-titled CD, consists
mostly of Irish /folk style cover songs. He spent most of 2003 writing
original material that has recently been recorded with the engineering
savvy of Drew
Smith of the JCLband. Currently, he is preparing his new CD
releases with producer Christian
McNeill of Hybrasil .

Since 1995, Christian has
experienced hits on the rock and college charts and is now trying
independent projects with his own material. Ronan is continuing to
collaborate with established artists in the discreet Boston music scene.
This includes the talent of guitarist Duke
Levine , who also assisted in the first Ronan Quinn CD, and mandolin
player Jimmy Ryan .
Listening to Ronan, you could hear anything from folk/country to ballads, reggae, and rock. Lend your ear! Check back often for soon to be released original sound/video clips! |
